How we work together.

Every engagement at Build Better Brands follows a structured process designed to uncover strategic insight, define clear positioning, and build a brand that supports long-term growth.

A beige bottle, bowl, and wooden rectangular tray are on the table. A woman is writing in a notebook on the right, and another person is typing on a laptop on the left.

The process, step by step.

  • We begin with a discovery call to understand your business, your goals, and the challenges your brand is facing. Once we decide to move forward, the engagement agreement is signed, a 50% project deposit is received, you complete the Brand Strategy Brief, and the project timeline is confirmed. This ensures the project begins with clarity and alignment.

  • During the research phase we analyze your market and industry trends, competitors and positioning, customer motivations and behaviors, and opportunities for differentiation. You may be asked for additional internal insights during this stage. At the end of this phase, we present key findings and strategic opportunities.

  • Using the research insights, we define the strategic direction for your brand — including brand positioning, differentiation strategy, audience insights, and messaging direction. We review this direction together to ensure alignment before moving forward.

  • Once the strategic direction is confirmed, we build the full brand strategy framework. Depending on the engagement, this may include your value proposition, brand narrative, messaging hierarchy, communication guidelines, and strategic recommendations.

  • The engagement concludes with a comprehensive strategy presentation. You receive a clearly documented brand strategy and roadmap to guide future marketing and business decisions. If helpful, we also conduct team walkthrough sessions to ensure confident implementation across your organization.

  • Following the strategy presentation, we schedule a follow-up meeting based on your team's needs. This is an opportunity to review how the strategy is being implemented, answer questions, and provide additional guidance. Our goal is to ensure the strategy is not only understood — but successfully applied as your brand continues to grow.
